Saving water in the garden

In Summers when there is a hosepipe ban, it is always good to conserve water. And, of course, generally conserving water is a good idea too.

One of the best ways to save water usage in the garden is to store water that comes out of the drainpipe from the bath.

Simply use a large water vat to store that bathwater, and use it to water the plants.

OK it might start to get a little smelly from the soap, but that soon goes shortly after it is on the plants, and overall it is a great and simple way of saving water in the garden.
