Recycling

Recycling
Recycling is the name given to the process of re-using materials that have served their purpose, rather than simply disposing of them permanently.

Recycling is important because it allows us to conserve resources - it allows material to go further and be used in some cases again and again. This not only makes sense for the environment, but often makes commercial sense too.

Whilst most governments encourage the use of recycling there is still a long way to go and many more products than we currently recycle could be recycled, and many that are on the periphery would benefit greatly from increased adoption of recycling due to the economies of scale these introduce and the fact that the more an item is recycled the more viable economically its recycling becomes.
