Future Energy Tariff

The Future Energy tariff contrasts with the Future Energy Plus tariff. Where the latter is a dual product, in contrast Future Energy is available for Electricity only.

With the Future Energy tariff, all of the electricity that you consume is matched with energy from renewable sources. These sources include wind and water for instance.

Contributions are also made to the energy for tomorrow fund as with the Future Energy Plus tariff.

At the time of writing you also get a standby saver which can help to save money on your energy bills.

The website for this product quotes some standard prices to give you a guideline as to what the bill would be with this product. These are as follows:

Low energy user: £248

Average energy user: £413

High energy user: £602

There is an online quote tool that can be used to get an exact quote to help you establish what your annual bill would be under current unit rates.

The tariff Future Energy is available to the first 60,000 households that sign up for the particular tariff according to the British Gas website.
