Pale Green Tariff

Pale Green is one of the two tariffs currently offered by Green Energy UK at the time of writing.

This tariff contrasts with the Deep Green tariff which you should read the page on here for more information on that particular tariff.

The Pale Green tariff is one which is a 100% pale green source tariff.

The electricity that makes up the electricity supplied for those under this tariff is sourced from CHP generators, which stands for combined heat and power generators. Those that are chosen are ones that have been given accreditation by Ofgem the regulator for producing cleaner, more environmentally friendly power.

So in summary the electricity comes from 'low impact' combined heat and power under this tariff.
