Save The Children Charity Credit Card
Issued by:Co-operative Bank
The Save the Children Charity credit card is issued by the co-operative bank and is described as 'the card that helps poor people to help themselves'.
Most people are familiar with the charity Save the Children, and even if you are not then it is very clear from the name what this charity does.
When you take out the card there is a donation of £15 straight away to save the children from the co-operative bank, and this money could provide teacher training materials for schools in Tanzania.
There is then a further £2.50 if you use the card within six months, followed by 25p per £100 that is spent on the card.
If you are interested in supporting Save the Children by taking out this charity credit card from the Co-op, then it is worth noting that there are three different variants of the credit card.
These are called the Save the Children Standard credit card, Save the Children Advantage Platinum credit card and finally the Save the Children Fixed Rate Platinum credit card.
The smallprint for each of these three varies, and many people will not be eligible for the platinum options by simple virtue of the fact that you have to be over 25, but more so that you need to have a minimum income of £250,000 or more in order to get one of those two cards which will no doubt rule out quite a few people who are interested in that particular card.
