Energy Saving Light Bulbs

Most of us are now familiar with energy saving light bulbs.

And the technology also seems to be improving. Despite claims of very long life we all know that the earlier versions of these did not last that long, and also in some cases took a long time to warm up meaning that the room was gloomy for the first minute or so after the light was switched on.

Now that's no longer the case there is no reason not to use these energy efficient lightbulbs. They will save on energy because they are specifically designed to use less energy than the old style of light bulb.

Using these around the house is also good as they now can last around ten times longer than ordinary light bulbs. That means less changing, less waste, and of course as they are low energy they also save you money relative to the ordinary light bulb.
