Magnetism And Being Green

Magnetism may be much more important in the future than it is now in terms of helping to cut energy bills and therefore save the planet (or help to do so at least) in the process.

Research shows that fridges that use magnets to cool will use around 40% or more less energy than a conventional fridge, and the fridge as we know from our bills is one of the large users of electricity in our home, so it will be both good for the planet and for our bills if this technology takes off and comes into the home.

The method works technically by using metal alloys that are cooled down by through the use of a magnetic field acting on the alloys reducing their temperature.
