WaterAid Charity Credit Card

Card name: WaterAid charity credit card

Issued by:Co-operative Bank

There are a wide range of well known charities that have charity credit cards through the Co-operative Bank. The one that you are perhaps most likely not to have heard of is WaterAid, although the name is clearly descriptive as to what they do.

If you take out a WaterAid credit card, then there are the familiar payments made to WaterAid, as common with the majority of the charity credit cards in this range of cards from the Co-operative.

They are as follows: a £15 donation made once the card account is opened with an additional £2.50 if the card is used within a six month period of time. Then there is 25p given for each additional £100 that is spent on the card.

The aim of WaterAid is from the website the provide safe water for the world's poorest people, which is clearly a very worthwhile aim. The hardest part if you choose to get a Co-operative charity credit card is working out which of the charities to support - at the time of writing there 12 charity credit cards listed on the Co-operative website all with worthwhile potential causes to support.

In this card family there are three different cards which have different requirements to meet in order to apply and different terms and conditions. They are the WaterAid Standard, the WaterAid advantage platinum and finally the WaterAid fixed rate platinum credit card.

With a platinum card whilst there are harder requirements in order to get the card, there are various privileges as the name platinum would imply; for instance exclusive travel benefits, free purchase protection insurance and also £100,000 travel accident insurance.
