Recycling Plastic
It is not commonly known, but some people are now starting to get bins for recycling certain sorts of plastic.This is great news as it increases greatly the number of things that can be recycled.
One such commonly recycled plastic item is a plastic bottle.
However, these can be quite bit and bulky and take up a lot of space, and if the plastic collection is quite irregular then it can be difficult to get rid of all those plastic bottles that accumulate in one go.
A simple method you can use to ensure that you fit more plastic bottles in and reduce their space it to stand on them... whilst doing so, put the top back on it.
This will crush it right down in size and so overall you will be able to fit many more in the bin as a result, which means more plastic will get recycled!
